About the role
UGL Regional Linx has been awarded the contract to Operate and Maintain the NSW Country Regional Network (CRN) for 10 years. Our operations commenced in January 2022.
The Country Regional Network links broad areas of Regional NSW to interstate and metropolitan rail systems. The network supports daily passenger services along with the transportation of freight including coal, grain, cotton, minerals and containerised goods to domestic and export markets.

We are seeking motivated and qualified Network Control Officers or Signallers with more than 5 years’ experience who would like to join our Network Operations team in Orange.
Your role as Network Control Officer\:
You will be contributing to the management and control of train movements in a vast and varied network as well as the development of scheduling requirements and administration of ad-hoc train movements. This role will also require you to liaise with a number of stakeholders to ensure rail safeworking and appropriate procedures to gain network access are followed. Our Network Control Officers manage the network on a 24 hour/7 days a week basis.

- Ability and willingness to adapt, quickly learn and utilise new skills and knowledge
Your Experience
- Cert IV in Rail Operations (Desirable)
- Current Driving Licence
- Knowledge of the NSW National Rail Safety Law 2012 and System Safety Plans
- Ability to process short-term (ad hoc) train path requests
- Experience in train control management is desirable
