UGL has current vacancies for a highly skilled and safety focused Mechanical Operator Maintainers to join our Maintenance Program on one of our major O&G contracts offshore at Bass Strait, VIC.
In this role, the successful candidates will be responsible for providing end to end maintenance and service of the offshore platforms
About the Role\:
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with all relevant procedures and manuals
- Considerable experience working on diesel & gas fuelled engines within the oil & gas industry
- Carry out minor & major repairs on equipment
- Operate, monitor and maintain equipment so that operating life is enhanced
- Isolate and prepare equipment for preservation and ensure damage is avoided
- Proven skill in diagnostic problem solving
- Willingness to work autonomously and proactively whilst achieving team-based goals
- Effective communication skills and ability to articulate technical and operational information
- Australia Recognised Trade Certificate
About You\:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in O&G / Bass Strait Experience Preferable
- Work to a high standard and be passionate about what you do
- Current MSIC & HEUT Preferable
- Work at Heights
- High Risk Work Licence (WP) Preferable
- CPR/LVR within 12 months
- Current First Aid Qualification Preferable
