About the role:
Dive into a career in Water with Unitywater's 2027 Graduate Program alongside five other graduates from a range of disciplines!

Forget sitting on the sidelines - you’ll be contributing from day one. As soon as you commence as a Graduate Chemical Engineer, you'll be doing purpose driven work on real infrastructure that our communities depend on every day.

Think six-month rotations across diverse teams, a group innovation project with actual senior management backing, and mentoring from people who genuinely want to see you grow.

Two years of structured experience designed to fast-track your career in one of the most essential industries in the country. At the end of the program, you’ll transition into a permanent full-time position. Not bad for your first job out of uni.

2 x Chemical Engineer Graduates opportunities include:
  • Treatment Technologies and Sustainability Projects
  • These roles will provide exposure to water treatment systems, process optimisation, sustainability initiatives, and data-driven engineering solutions that support critical water infrastructure.
  • Featuring comprehensive training, professional growth opportunities and mentoring and competitive remuneration and benefits.
These roles span across both our Sunshine Coast and Moreton Bay offices, and graduates will be expected to travel between these locations as needed.
We welcome applications from students graduating in 2026 or 2027, as well as recent graduates within the last two to three years.

About you:

  • Recent completion of a bachelor’s degree prior to commencement of the program in Chemical Engineering, with or without Environmental Engineering/Science.

  • Demonstrated digital literacy skills, including the ability to use workplace technologies, digital communication tools, and AI tools effectively and responsibly.
  • Customer focus and a positive and proactive approach to interacting with our community.
