About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Field Services team as a Water Industry Worker – Level 5, working across the Sunshine Coast and Moreton Bay region. A WIW5 is a critical field-based role and you will lead a team of water industry workers in delivering planned and reactive civil maintenance works, operation, minor replacement, renewals and extension of water supply and sewerage systems, whilst ensuring a quality service to Unitywater’s customers.

About you:

- Broad experience in the operation, maintenance and minor replacement, renewals and extension of water supply and sewerage systems or similar civil works infrastructure.
- Exceptional leadership and supervisory skills gained from working in a field-based environment, with the ability to model the behaviours expected of a leader.
- Hold a Certificate II and Certificate III in Water Operations.
- Certificate IV in Water Operations or be willing to complete this.
- Certificate IV in Leadership and Management or be willing to complete this.
- Have the ability to participate in after-hours work rosters.
- Hold a current MR and C class driver’s licence.
- Hold a General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
