About the role:
As the Capital Works Planning Manager, you will lead a team and be responsible for providing strategic advice in the prioritisation and justification of our capital works program. You will be accountable for the development and approval of our water and sewerage capital works programs and have a strong interface across the organisation, including working closely with the Executive Leadership Team and senior Managers. Additionally, you will facilitate sustainable and timely planning and design of our capital works programs by leading the annual capital works budget submission process, including the prioritisation of projects and justification of proposed expenditure; and leading the development of programs of capital works based on schedules provided by the Network Planning and Emerging Communities sections and capital project submissions.

About you:

  • Extensive experience within a utilities environment with a focus on development management and asset planning, coupled with a Degree in Engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team of Engineers and Project Managers engaged in the planning and design of water supply and sewerage network infrastructure.
  • Significant experience in compiling, prioritising, and justifying programs of capital works.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, coupled with experience in liaising and consulting at Executive level.
