About the role:
As a Principal Development Engineer, you will be responsible for providing engineering advice to both internal and external stakeholders. You will evaluate development related connection applications against technical and service standards, to ensure Unitywater provides customers with appropriate and efficient water supply and sewerage services. Additionally, you will control and negotiate the coordination of the development assessment process with developers. You will also engage with Registered Certifiers and undertake audits as part of the Unitywater Accreditation and Certification system.
You will have the opportunity to work from either office locations Caboolture and or Maroochydore and will also have the flexibility to work from home.
About you:
To contribute to Unitywater’s values of Reliability, Safety, Honesty & Integrity, Efficiency, One Team, Innovation, you will demonstrate the following skills and qualities for the role:
- Relevant industry qualifications such as a Bachelor Degree, or Diploma in Civil Engineering or similar field. Ongoing professional training in engineering or environmental management would be an advantage.
- Significant experience in a similar role or in a position with a similar skill set.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience in a civil engineering environment.
- Demonstrated experience in water supply and sewerage aspects relevant to land development.
