About the role:

The purpose of this role is to lead the Solution Architecture Practice, which is responsible for delivering solution architecture and design within Unitywater. This includes providing leadership within programs and projects on solution architecture, delivering solution architecture outcomes and leading other technical resources as required to ensure technology change is documented and delivered in line with established standards and templates.

Your opportunity is to contribute to Unitywater through; portfolio planning activities, technical leadership and stewardship, business engagement and leadership. This position reports to the Technology Strategy & Architecture Manager and works closely with all key stakeholders within the technology branch, especially Lead and Program Architects, and Program and Project Managers.

You will lead a team of Solution Architects (permanent and contract) who are responsible for developing end-to-end solution architectures across Business, Information, Data, Application, Technology, Integration and Security domains that respond to business needs, and provide specific guidance to vendors and implementation partners.

  • Strong experience leading Solution Architecture teams
  • Signification experience delivering solution architecture in complex enterprises
  • A blend of business acumen, enterprise technology system know-how, governance and operations
  • Strong awareness and understanding of hardware, networks, software, technologies and applications
  • Significant experience working within established solution architecture teams within complex enterprises
  • Highly developed written, interpersonal and negotiation skills including the proven ability to effectively communicate with all levels of internal and external customers, staff members and work units.
  • Highly desirable; TOGAF Certified, ITIL Certified (or similar)
