About the role:
Bring your Procurement expertise to a team where impact meets purpose.
We’re looking for a proactive Procurement Officer to join us on a 12month max-term contract. You will help drive smarter purchasing, streamlined sourcing, and effective supplier management across Unitywater.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering value by supporting day-to-day procurement and supply chain activities, managing contracts, ensuring timely supplier payments, and maintaining accurate records. You’ll work closely with teams across the business to deliver fit-for-purpose procurement and supply chain outcomes that support operational excellence and strategic goals.

About you:

Qualifications & Licensing
  • Tertiary qualifications in procurement, business, or related field (desirable)
  • Membership with the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) or equivalent (desirable)
  • Current C Class driver’s licence
Procurement Experience & Skills
  • Experience in purchasing and supply chain activities within a large, fast-paced organisation
  • Proven ability to support procurement processes with accuracy, sound judgement, and discretion
  • Strong understanding of procurement, supply chain and finance systems, and the Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience delivering high-quality administrative services in a system-driven environment
Collaboration & Communication
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • A collaborative team player who contributes positively to the work environment
  • Able to communicate clearly and follow written and verbal instructions
Organisation & Problem Solving
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and work independently
  • Effective problem-solving skills with a practical and solutions-focused mindset
  • Resilient and energetic, with the ability to see tasks and projects through to completion
