We are seeking an experienced and motivated Driller to join our growing operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating drilling equipment safely and efficiently while delivering high-quality outcomes across a range of projects. About the Role
As a Driller, you will:
Operate drilling rigs and associated equipment safely and efficiently.
Conduct pre-start inspections and routine maintenance of drilling equipment.
Set up and pack down drilling sites.
Read and interpret drilling plans, specifications, and site requirements.
Collect and record drilling data accurately.
Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and company procedures.
Work collaboratively with offsiders, supervisors, and site personnel.
Identify and report equipment faults or safety concerns promptly.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience as a Driller, preferably within construction, mining, geotechnical, water well, exploration, or civil drilling.
Relevant drilling qualifications and licences (advantageous).
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Physically fit and able to work in a demanding outdoor environment.
Ability to work away from home when required.
HR or MC driver's licence (desirable).
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
