Ventia has opportunities available for experienced Electricians to join our Projects team delivering electrical infrastructure upgrades and installation works across BHP operations in Western Australia.
Working on a 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth, you'll be part of a high-performing team delivering a range of project works across mining, processing and port infrastructure. This is an ongoing opportunity offering exposure to major projects, strong team support and excellent earning potential.

About the Role
As an Electrician, you'll deliver electrical installation and upgrade works across a variety of project environments, supporting critical infrastructure throughout BHP operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Switchboard and MCC installations
- VSD/VFD installation and modification works
- Cable installation, glanding and termination
- Substation electrical works
- Conveyor and transfer station infrastructure projects
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
- Maintaining high safety and quality standards
- Contributing to successful project delivery across multiple sites
- This role offers a variety of project-based work, providing exposure to different sites, teams and infrastructure projects across the Pilbara.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current Australian Electrical Licence
- Current Driver's Licence
- Trade qualification as an Electrician
- Experience within industrial, mining or heavy industry environments
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Desirable:
- Previous mining or resources industry experience
- BHP site experience
- Working at Heights
- Confined Space Entry
- Current CPR/LVR
- High Risk Work Licences
