Ventia delivers maintenance and improvement services across the Pilbara region which represents 25 per cent of the state of Western Australia for Main Roads Western Australia. We have an exciting opportunity for Routine Maintenance Crew member to join Ventia Transport division in Newman.

The key duties of this role include but are not limited to:

• Deliver best for network road maintenance processes
• Maintenance management and delivery of rehabilitation and capital improvement works.
• Perform road pavement maintenance and sign installation works
• Maintains regulatory signs and road markings
• Deliver all site activities, from pre-start to close-out, to ensure the effective delivery of the works
• Deliver and monitor work activities through MMIS applications
• Unsealed road maintenance and Bridge maintenance
• Maintain a Zero Harm culture

About you

• Reside within proximity of Newman town
• HR Licence is essential
• Current White Card
• Traffic Control license is highly desirable
• Skid steer loader license is preferred (Bobcat)
• Knowledge of road maintenance/asphalting industry is desirable
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision if required
