Are you an experienced Electrician with relevant current experience in delivering Electrical and ITS minor capital works?
Venture Smart a 50/50 joint venture between Ventia and Johnson Controls (JCI) providing ongoing Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) maintenance services & electrical capital works state-wide for Main Roads WA.We are looking to employ an Electrician to work on the Main Roads Western Australia project across the WA metropolitan and regional areas. You will be working for the Capital Works Construction team delivering critical infrastructure projects. Scope of work includes working on the full gamut of Electrical and ITS assets in the road infrastructure sector.
About you!
- An experienced electrical professional who focuses on operating safely
- Hold a WA Drivers Licenses to operate a company provided vehicle
- Hold a current White card
- Are able to provide an EWP, Work at Heights, Confined Space, Worksite Traffic Management tickets
- CPR qualifications are highly desirable.
We are looking for applicants with the following technical attributes:
- Demonstrated experience working on operational assets and installations (Brown Fields)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, Utility Service drawings (DBYD) and work methodologies and specifications
- Safety focused, with a high level of attention to detail
- Open commutators with the ability to self-start and work as part of a team
- Ability to generate clear and concise written reports as necessary
