About the role

Ventia has an opportunity for a reliable and motivated Cleaner who share our commitment to service excellence and are passionate about delivering a great experience to our clients with every interactions.

Assist to undertake cleaning activities on site in accordance with the daily, periodical and emergency cleaning programs whist ensuring that all HSE requirements are being satisfied

The successful candidates will be enthusiastic and engaging and have good communication skills. You can work independently as well as being part of a team and are well organised, efficient and pay close attention to the details.

The base hourly rate $26.17p/h + Superannuation

Available opportunity:

Bullsbrook RAAF Base Pearce, 5 hours per day, Monday - Friday 0600 - 1300 - 32.5 per week

Duties include, but no limited to:

Undertake daily cleaning on carpeted floors, sealed and unsealed internal hard/resilient floors, toilets & ablution amenities, canteen and food preparation areas, glass, furniture, remove garbage and litter, external hard surfaces to buildings and attached covered paved areas.
Attend daily prestart meetings/ acknowledge minutes to ensure that any issues/concerns are actioned.
Conform to all HSE and Broadspectrum corporate requirements when working on site.
Partake in quality monitoring inspections and rectify any non-conformances identified.
Identify and report problems observed whilst working on site.
To participate in toolbox talks with a positive attitude.
Notify Cleaning Supervisors of any requests for additional cleaning on site.
Being polite & professional to clients and visitors

Requirements:

Australian Citizenship (for Defence security clearance requirements)
Able to obtain and maintain a National Police Clearance Check
Valid Driver’s Licence and own reliable transport to get to and from site
Able to pass a basic medical, including a Drug and Alcohol screen
Some cleaning experience preferred (not essential)
Reliable punctual and takes pride in personal appearance and work standards
Reasonable fit and able to stand/walk for extended periods
