Are you a Carpenter seeking a role with variety?
We are seeking two Carpenters to join our City of Sydney contract. Our carpenters will be responsible for providing support to other tradesman, carpentry repairs, maintenance, and preventative maintenance to a range of community facilities such as community centres, libraries, leisure facilities and depots, as well as commercial buildings, some being iconic such as the Sydney Town Hall, Customs House, and Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre.
Key duties & responsibilities:
- Completing maintenance and repair work on buildings as required
- Supporting other tradesman to maximise customer satisfaction
- Managing the submission of all related paperwork as necessary and in a timely manner e.g. quotes, purchase orders, job dockets, minor estimates, technical reports etc
- Continuously seek new and improved ways of service delivery, customer service and overall efficiency
- Effectively communicate with customers where required
- Actively participate and support an environment of teamwork and excellence in performance
- Complying with all Ventia SHEQ policies and procedures
About you:
- Trade qualification (certificate III in carpentry or equivalent)
- Previous experience working in a building maintenance position is preferrable
- Drivers License
- White Card
