About the Contract
Utilita is a joint venture between Downer Utilities and Ventia delivering electrical, mechanical, and civil maintenance services since 2016. These services cover a range of assets, including water reservoirs, water pump stations, water transfer and distribution pipelines, water boosters, wastewater pump stations and wastewater treatment plants
About the Role
Based in our Eagle Farm office with specialist technical engineering expertise, the successful applicant will lead and develop a small team of engineers, estimate input and support project management to the operations team.
Key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

Oversee and coordinate the development of estimates and contribute to tenders.

Mentor and develop junior engineers and project engineers in the effective project management, design management, estimating processes etc.

Provide engineering advice and technical support to the project delivery team
About You
The key skills and attributes required to be successful in this role include:

Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering degree
-
Experience with project estimating, associated processes and required inputs
-
Leadership experience and capability to support the development of Junior Engineers

Project Management experience including scope, budget & execution
