Part of our long-term ongoing LNG maintenance contract at Barrow Island, Ventia is seeking experienced & qualified Instrumentation & Controls Supervisors & Electrical Supervisors. These casual positions will see you engaged on a Shutdown / Turnaround; preventative, corrective and project brownfields maintenance will form part of our scope for the event.
Your main responsibilities will be to provide field supervision, organisation, and management of labour to ensure that all shutdown maintenance works are delivered safely on schedule and to required quality and client specifications. You will also be required to perform the task of Quality Control on all Electrical and Instrumentation works completed.

Qualification Requirements:
Electrical Supervisors:
- "A" Class Electrical Licence (WA)
- Current EEHA (3-year validity) (Desirable)
- 'C' class driver's license
- Current LVR/ CPR
- Cert 4 Leadership & Management (Highly Regarded)
- Current First Aid Certificate (Highly Regarded)
- High Risk Licenses (Highly Regarded)
Instrument & Controls Supervisors:
- "A" Class Electrical Licence (WA)
- Cert IV or III Instrumentation
- Current EEHA (3-year validity) (Desirable)
- 'C' class driver's license
- Current LVR/ CPR
- Cert 4 Leadership & Management (Highly Regarded)
- Current First Aid Certificate (Highly Regarded)
- High Risk Licenses (Highly Regarded)
Key Skills & Experience:
- Must have minimum 5 years FIFO experience within Oil & Gas or Mining Industry
- Must have minimum 2-3 years Supervisory experience
- Experience with managing other trade disciplines (Mechanical, Boilermaker / Welder etc.)
- Demonstrated strong leadership skills
- Experience with reviewing and approving E&I work packs/ job cards
- Experience with E&I Quality control, verifying work executed and closing out work packs
- Ability to build & maintain relationships across all levels of the business
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with other divisions and departments both internal and external
- Familiar with using Microsoft Software products (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Excellent attitude towards health, safety & environment
