BUS DRIVER / UTILITY
About the Role
We are currently seeking to employ an enterprising and energetic Bus Driver / Utility worker who will be able to cover a variety of roles at the Kathleen Valley Village Camp site in WA. This prestigious mine camp is situated 600km North of Perth and is only 1 hour’s flight from Perth.The successful candidate will play a key role in providing transportation to village guests, as well as maintaining and improving landscaped areas, handling passenger luggage and at other times you will be required to cover some utility cleaning works.
Key responsibilities include:
- Safely transport village workers to and from site
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and carry out minor maintenance
- Ensure vehicle record keeping and documentation is fully maintained
- Cleaning ablutions block areas
- Assisting the team with baggage handling
- Carrying out laundry services
- Maintain areas in accordance with service requirements
- Perform other suitable duties as directed in relation to sites including cleaning of building exteriors, general detailing, floor cleaning
Experience & Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you will have the following:
- Hold a passenger transport driver (PTD) authorisation on your licence, which allows you drive a vehicle carrying passengers for hire or reward
- Covid-19 Certification
- Ability to work pro-actively in an outdoors environment in all weather
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team
- Enthusiasm and commitment to high standards of customer service
- The ability to pass a medical, including drug and alcohol tests
- Unrestricted Australian work rights

This position will attract a salary of $90 000 + Superannuation
