A truly outstanding opportunity now exists within the Facilities Management (FM) team for a switched-on and driven Team Manager to lead a collaborative yet dynamic team committed to maintaining service excellence. Working out of Rosedale North Shore, you will visit sites throughout the Tahi region.
ABOUT THE FM CONTRACT
Ventia NZ provides a fully integrated Facilities Management solution to Auckland City Council including open space and soft services under a self-delivered and sub-contracted partnership model for 8 of Auckland Council local boards.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Team Manager (Multi-Trades) will support the integrated service delivery as well as Ventia’s whole-of-asset cycle. The role is responsible for the management of multi-Trades delivery teams providing an integrated Hard FM service to designated Auckland Council Local Boards. The role covers regions of Hibiscus Coast, Upper Harbour & North shore Bays.
You will be required to take full responsibility of maintaining and upgrading the following:
- Electrical maintenance and upgrading
- Fabric (carpentry and painting / decorating)
- Building maintenance
- Mechanical
- Open Space/ grounds
- Plumbing
ABOUT YOU
Highly motivated, you have demonstrable experience in a similar facilities management role and have a keen interest in using technology to improve systems and processes. Your leadership style is collaborative, empowering and inclusive and you take pride in surpassing stakeholder expectations. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Your influencing skills coupled with your communication/interpersonal skills will ensure your success in this role. You are a results-focussed individual who uses their initiative to go beyond the call of duty! You come from either a supervisory background in Facilities Management or want to take that first step up from being on the tools!
