The Role
Ventia are currently looking to engage a Weed Spray Technician based at HMAS Stirling, Garden Island, Rockingham within an established Land Management maintenance team. In this role you’ll be responsible monitoring and control of priority weeds across the estate and in bushland areas for within the allocated ADF facilities.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have the excellent communication, coupled with following skills and experience:
- Knowledge of selecting, mixing and use of herbicides and spray additives
- Use and general maintenance of spray equipment
- Hold a Pesticide spraying license
- Experience in a weed management role with proven weed Identification skills
- WA driver’s license manual C class or higher
Be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain a Defence clearance
