Ventia have an exciting opportunity for a Document Controller to join the team in Canning Vale office. The successful candidate will support the prestigious Square Kilometre Array Observatory (SKAO) project as well as assist the Telecommunications based (ICT) infrastructure team.
Free parking is available. This is a permanent full-time position based with the requirement of working from the Canning Vale office as well as the added flexibility to work from home on pre-arranged days.
Primary purpose of this role:
- Monitor document flow of transactions, documents statuses
- Coordinate the transfer of documentations via various systems such as: SharePoint, CEMAR, ALIM
- Maintain SharePoint file structures and associated metadata for document libraries.
- Support the development of document control and management systems
- Support the coordination of all activities related to the Document Control procedure, including technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondence and designs.
- Maintain updated records of all approved documents and drawings
- As-built and MDR compilation.
- Assist with quality control checks
- Assist with setting up project filling systems.
- Input document data into the standard registers
- Generate the various document control reports as required.
- Assist with auditing and reviewing documents
About you:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- High proficiency on SharePoint metadata
- Sound understanding of document control principles
- High level of computer competency and literacy
- Results focused with the ability to identify and prioritise problems and issues, generate solutions and work collaboratively to achieve a successful outcome
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with a high degree of motivation, energy, initiative and commitment, with the capacity to deal with multiple and often conflicting priorities.
- Experience in managing customer service and customer expectations
