Due to a committed extensive pipeline of NBN Fixed Wireless upgrade work, we require a Project Engineer within our Project team. The role will see you providing quality delivery across NBN Fixed Wireless telecommunications projects.

About the Role

The project covers primarily Upgrade works with Greenfield work on the horizon. The project involves the entire end to end process including site acquisition, design and build. This role will focus on the build component and planning associated with it.

Specifically, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring all Project / Contract milestones are delivered on time and within budget to the customer’s requirements
• Performing site construction planning prior to site mobilisation
• Preparing quotes to the client based on reviewing design briefs and construction drawings and then completing final quotes for billing purposes
• Preparing and ordering BOM (bill of materials)
• Coordinating plant equipment required for each site (Cherry pickers, cranes, etc)
• Coordinating Quality Audits

About You

• Previous experience as a Project Engineer in the planning and construction phase of Radio Access Network telecommunications infrastructure is essential. NBN FW experience is preferred
• Previous experience with installing mobile infrastructure (Upgrades or Greenfields) as a Rigger / Technician and looking to kick start your career as a Project Engineer will be considered
• Experience with managing sub-contractors involved in construction
• Experience with managing company internal field resources
• Experience with the preparation and negotiation of quotations and variations is preferable
• Customer focused people skills with demonstrated ability to develop and foster long-term customer relationships
• Degree in an engineering speciality (Telecommunications preferred) will be highly regarded
