The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, the role of the Integrations Specialist will be responsible for delivering on all aspects of design, development, implementation, testing, release management and general support of Novus (Internal Workforce Management System) and associated integrations with client and enterprise systems.
This role can be located in either Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane with flexible working arrangements from the home or office.
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively across Novus product with other team members to ensure system development is achieved in line with deployment timeframes and product release schedules
- Support the existing infrastructure, recommend viable solutions and focus on new cutting-edge technology developments
- Assessment of client provided API specifications and delivering complete solutions to adapt the integration and work management layers to meet client needs
- Ensure work is delivered in line with local procedures and multiple deployment schedules for the Novus deployment
- Providing support to clients of the Novus platform and associated integrations
- Assist deployment teams with triage and resolution of Novus related infrastructure and application issues
- Contribute and actively develop supporting documentation and operating procedures
- Apply Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) principles in support of effective agile development
- Participation in on-call roster for the Novus solution where required. This can extend into weekend and after hour rotations
About you
You will have a qualifications in ICT ideally in Software & Applications, accompanied with experience working in s similar role with the following skills and experience:
- Experience in an IT release and IT environment management
- DevOps experience, Azure preferred (Advantageous)
- Apache Camel / JBoss Fuse experience
- SQL development (Oracle/MS)
- Java (Spring Framework)
- Oracle Application Express development
- Development for containerised workloads running in a production Kubernetes environment
- Monitoring and visualisation experience
- Intermediate Linux skills and understanding of databases, SQL and basic data reporting
