Ventia are seeking fire management labourers for our Mornington Shire Council team.
We are dedicated to the safety and management of bush areas across the area, and are on the lookout for experience in wildfire management, natural resource and horticultural management. Help make a difference to the local community in an important role.
We are also willing to train people new to the industry in this role, and develop your career in this area.
Duties:
- Deliver fire management works across Mornington
- Ensure works are carried out with minimal environmental disturbance
- Assist the Parks and Roadsides team where required.
- Grow your skills in Fire/Fuel Management
Skills:
- Experience in Holistic Bushland Management and Environmental management desirable
- Chainsaw Certificate desirable
- Chemical Users Certificate desirable
- We are happy to train in any of the above that you are not proficient in
