About the role
Safety, Health, Environment and Quality advisor is a key position in promoting a positive and generative approach to the health and safety, environment and quality functions across the project as well as the wider organisation. The role will also provide technical capability to drive the development, implementation and continual improvement of the integrated contract management system (ICMS) to meet legal, contractual and other business requirements.
What you’ll be doing
- Implementing processes to ensure communication and compliance with all SHEQ policies and procedures.
- Ensuring risk assessments and risk registers are developed and maintained.
- Ensuring that the Ventia “Critical Risk Protocols” are embedded in the project through Leaders.
- Reviewing and seeking improvement to SHEQ through monitoring SHEQ performance within area of responsibility
- Promoting the participation of all people in achieving a safe workplace with zero impact on the environment
- Seeking to meet TfNSW Specification quality requirements.
- Undertaking safety investigations
About you
- Certificate or Diploma Qualifications
- Formal training in incident Investigation
- General Construction Induction (White Card)
- Ideally 2+ years in a functional role with industry experience
- Experience in developing and implementing processes.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental legislation
- Understanding of quality and auditing requirements
