About the role
An opportunity to join Ventia’s Telecommunications Division as a Field Technician in Dubbo Region/ Northern NSW Region is now available.

This is a permanent role for a 24/7 maintenance contract with the client being NBN. This team works on all the different technologies that NBN offer but particularly for these regions FTTN, FTTP and FTTC so previous experience in copper and fibre technologies is essential.

Works would include Fibre splicing and copper jointing.

We are looking for a self-motivated person who can work without supervision and is able to work as part of an on-call roster as there will be weekend work and after-hours work.

About you

  • Relevant experience and trade qualifications
  • Hands-on approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work in a team and on your own
  • Willingness to learn new skills you are not familiar with
  • Current Australian Driver’s License
  • Flexibility with working hours and availability to attend call outs as required
