The Role
We are currently going through an exciting period of growth and a result are looking for a solid RF / RIC Engineer fir the Integration and monitoring of Base station equipment for our large telecommunications project.
Reporting to the RIC Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Producing integration scripts for Ericsson/Nokia and Huawei 3G/4G and 5G nodes
- Support field teams for site integration
- Update database milestones and both internal and external reporting
- Network performance reporting
- Monitoring site performance and take necessary optimization measures
- Be able to manage network baseline parameters
- Working with field staff and assisting them with site integration issue i.e. hardware/software support, script loading and alarm clearance
- Product leadership and technical support to field staff for overall site integration
- RF interference and isolation testing
- RF Design, especially for 4G, 5G, UHF and VHF networks
- Mitigation of EME issues
What we are looking for:
you will have qualifications in Engineering ideally within Telecommunications / Communications RF along with the following skills:
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Experience supporting field teams
- Hands on experience with Network Performance systems (PRS, Netact etc)
- Hands on experience with Ericsson/Nokia & Huawei OSS platforms (m2000, CME, CM Editor)
- Proven experience in RF Design, 4G, 5G, UHF and VHF networks
- Sound experience and or knowledge of RF prediction tools (Mentum Planet advantageous)
