About the role
Reporting to the Project Engineer, you will be accountable for the successful delivery of multiple work packages within Ventia's Telecommunications Fixed Network Business Unit, with required quality output for a challenging but a rewarding project.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing multiple Work Packages from mobilisation through to Completion
- Designated point of contact for all day to day construction activities, ensuring accountability for delivery
- Liaising with multiple stakeholders (both internal and external)
- Follow and implement set guidelines as required by Project Engineers
- Manage material logistics as per processes and procedures
- Prepare build schedules for Subcontractors and Internal Crews
- Review of Completion Artefacts and As-Built Documentation for Quality Assurance and submission to the Client
- Reconciliation of Bill of Quantities and Bill of Materials
- Processing of Subcontractor Invoices and Payment Claims
- Subcontractor management within the contractual conditions
About you
- 1-3 years experience in the Telecommunications industry
- Qualifications in Engineering/ Construction Management an advantage
- Proficient in MS Office and MS Projects
- Advanced Excel Skills (i.e. V-Lookups, Pivots Tables, Queries, Data analysis)
- Ability to read construction drawings
- Proven stakeholder management
- High attention to Detail and accuracy
- Critical Thinking and Problem Solving skills
- Relevant experience in managing subcontractors
