Ventia are seeking an Electrical Technical Officer to provide technical advice and support to the Northern Territory Regional Operations Centre (ROC). This role would see you maintain Estate Upkeep (EU) technical compliance with all relevant Australian and Defence standards and codes, and form part of the Asset Management Team based in the Darwin locality reporting to the Regional Asset Manager.
Working as part of the regional asset management group, your duties will include;
- Ensure compliance with policies and strategies related to the delivery of electrical technical operations and asset maintenance.
- Performance measurement, compliance and reporting for the electrical engineering and technical components of EU.
- Trend monitoring of major electrical infrastructure inclusive of HV network and delivery assets.
- Providing technical electrical engineering advice to assist in project scope development.
- Conduct of technical investigations including formal root cause analysis activities, and outage reporting.
- Assistance with identification and interpretation of National, International and Defence standards or other legislation, codes or policies relevant to maintenance of fixed plant/assets in the defence estate.
- Technical review of asset improvement proposals or deviation from baseline activities.
- Performing the role of electrical licence nominee representative for the Ventia operation in Northern Territory.
