The Opportunity
Ventia have a permanent full-time opportunity available for experienced Heating, Ventilation and Air-conditioning (HVAC) Technicians. In joining our team, you will provide service work within the City of Sydney portfolio. The diverse portfolio provides an opportunity to work within multiple heritage landmarks, commercial plant and properties. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on various HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Hours of work consist of Monday to Friday, 7am - 3pm & once every 8 weeks, Monday to Friday, 10am – 6pm.

Primary responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system problems
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including parts used, labour hours, and maintenance schedules
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and answering any questions they may have about their HVAC systems
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Who we’re looking for:
- Certificate III qualified in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration
- Certificate II in Fire Protection - Inspection & Testing and/or experience in this area is advantageous
- Holds an Australian driver's license - C Class
- Demonstrates strong communication skills
- Holds a motivated & ‘Can do’ attitude
