Ventia has a long successful relationship with the Australian Defence Force.
Our current long-term contract is to deliver Estate Maintenance and Operations Services, Hospitality and Catering, Fire and Refuelling, Retail Stores and Petrol’s, Oils and Lubricants across the nation.
Our Rescue & Fire Fighting (RFF) services currently extend from stations in WA, SA, VIC, NSW and QLD. Due to the evolving nature of this contract, we are currently employing a Fire-Fighter in our Fire and Rescue operations at Bandiana Victoria.
The successful Fire-Fighter will respond to incidents as required and perform duties as directed by the Station Officer and Leading Fire-Fighter.
All positions will require the successful applicants to work a 10/14 Roster:
Day Shift 08:00-18:00 Night Shift 18:00-08:00
Skills and Experience:
You must supply evidence of the following qualifications with your application: (Only complete applications will be assessed). The following minimum qualifications are required:
PUA20613 Certificate II in Public Safety (Firefighting & Emergency Operations)

• HLTAID003 Provide first aid.
• PUAFIR309B Operate Pumps
• PUAVEH001B Drive Vehicles under operational conditions.
• PUAOHS002B Maintain Safety at an Incident
• Hold a current MR Drivers’ licence.

Other Requirements:

• A proven track record for performance and professionalism within the fire industry
• A strong focus on team orientation
• You must be an Australian Citizen and able to maintain a Department of Defence Security Clearance.
