About the role

Excellent opportunity for an experienced or emerging Electrical Designer to assist in the design of turnkey Critical Infrastructure equipment such as DC Power Systems for telecommunications, Pure and Hybrid Solar Power Systems, UPS systems, Diesel Generating plants and the building and civil works associated with equipment.

As a pivotal member of the Telco team, you will offer design support to Construction crews, Construction Manager & on-site Supervisors and assist the team to manage end to end projects including the forecast of materials, detailed quotes and engineering solutions for specific programs of work, monitor progress of completions against specified timeframes.

In addition, you will liaise with suppliers regarding products, warranties and delivery schedules and customers to meet desired design and project outcomes.

About you

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Licensed electrical trade qualification
• Proven experience as an Electrical Designer
• Experience within the telecommunications industry an advantage
• Comfortable with site visits and travelling to all corners of NSW
• Confidence in using common Microsoft Office Suite programs such as Excel and Word
• Experience in CAD drawing or creating mark ups an advantage, along with ability to read Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and floorplans/layouts
