Ventia is actively hiring an experienced Cleaning Lead to manage the day-to-day operations of up to 20 employees at our client's Refinery in Pinjarra. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the running of the cleaning operations, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, and meeting the specific requirements set by our client.

Your main responsibilities will include supervising the cleaning team, assigning tasks, and ensuring that all cleaning duties are completed efficiently and effectively.

Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting regular inspections, providing training and guidance to the team, and implementing any necessary corrective actions to maintain a safe and clean working environment. Your strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of cleaning best practices will be crucial in ensuring the smooth and successful operation of the cleaning team in the Refinery.

Location: outskirts of Pinjarra
Pay rate: From $30.11 per hour plus penalties and 11% Super
The working days for this position are Monday to Friday, and the duration of each shift is flexible and can be negotiated between 6 to 8 hours per day.

Your responsibilities will include creating a positive and safe working environment, assisting with on-the-job training, coordinating the work of Level 1 Cleaners, and performing various cleaning duties. These duties include scrubbing and buffing hard floors, strip and seal floor cleaning, deep cleaning, detailed cleans of public areas such as gates and food courts, waste collection, segregation, and disposal, as well as spot cleaning, including mopping, sweeping, and cleaning of toilets, car parks, and walkways.

To be successful in this role, it is important to have personal drive, motivation, resilience, and integrity, along with extensive knowledge of the cleaning industry, previous experience organizing periodical cleans, and computer literacy and basic report writing skills.
