About the role:

Providing integrated services in line with Transurban Queensland holistic approach to incident response and Maintenance for five existing roads and tunnels in Brisbane. Ventia provides strategic operations and maintenance, asset management and renewal services to tunnels and Transport sector clients.

As an Electrical Technician, you will be Maintaining a diverse range of electrical assets including Tunnel carriageway, Sumps, Ventilation Systems, Lighting Systems, Fire Systems and ITS (electronic signage, CCTV.

This role works off a 12-week cycle roster. We are offering 10–12 hour shift and a roster combination of day and nights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain instrumentation, communication and monitoring systems throughout the Transurban network
• Perform corrective maintenance activities, fault-finding, and repair services
• Planned preventative maintenance routines and make performance checks as required
• Coordinate with the management team on maintenance work which affects the tunnel operations
• Respond to tunnel incidents, liaise with incident response crew and emergency services when required
• Self-mange materials and assist management with store activities for consumables and spare parts as required to complete works

Key Skills & Attributes Include:

• Qualified Electrical trade – Mandatory
• Queensland Electrical License – Mandatory
• High-Risk Work License - EWP
• LVR / CPR – Both current (within one year)
• Experience working on ITS, Communications & HV Switching - Desirable
• Exposure on transport & infrastructure projects – Electrical & ITS assets
