Are you looking for an exciting job opportunity in the mechanical engineering space? If so, the position of Rotating Equipment Mechanical Fitter at Ventia’s Viva Energy terminal in Clyde, Sydney may be an ideal opportunity.

As a Rotating Equipment Mechanical Fitter, you’ll be responsible for performing mechanical maintenance on pumps, compressors, gearboxes, and other related equipment—ensuring that they are running safely and efficiently. You’ll play a key role in minimising plant downtime and maximising production.

The Clyde Terminal began its life as a refinery in 1928. In 2012 the site was converted into a fuel import, storage and distribution terminal. The adjacent Parramatta Terminal has been operating since 1964. Both terminals operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Pipelines transfer fuel received at our Gore Bay Terminal to the Clyde Terminal. Fuel products are then loaded into tankers at the Parramatta Terminal road gantry to be distributed across metropolitan and regional NSW, and jet fuel is transferred via pipeline to Kingsford Smith Airport at Mascot.
Diesel, jet fuel and gasoline are stored at Clyde Terminal. Parramatta Terminal also has a warehouse and lube oil tank farm for the supply of bulk lubricants.

What you will need:

• Australian Trade Qualifications (Mechanical Fitter)
• Hold a current Working at Heights & Confined Space
• Have recent work experience as a Mechanical Fitter
• Have a strong commitment to safe work practices.
• MUST HAVE ROTATING EQUIPMENT EXPERIENCE
