Ventia are currently seeking an experienced Mine Site Cleaning Supervisor to join the management team in Middlemount. The Mine Site Cleaning Supervisor is responsible for a large mine site cleaning team in ensuring that all cleaning requirements are met. This is a permanent full time role working across a 7 day on, 7 day off, DIDO roster..

Salary for the role is $100,000 plus super with meals and accomodation provided.

About the role

• Supervisor to a large team of Mine Site Cleaners, rostering, all facets of staff management including recruitment (requesting roles, screening, interviewing & onboarding of new staff), training, conflict management and resolution, team building etc
• Ensure the team provide effective and efficient cleaning services across a range of areas including: admin buildings, crib rooms; toilets and bath houses, washrooms, field equipment, mobile equipment and other mine site locations as required, and where needed also work collaboratively with the team to "get the job done"
• Ensure compliance with company procedure and standards and observing mine site safety in the course of duties
• Manage the team and lead by example in the adherance to operation of equipment (SOP), handing of chemicals and manual handling practices
• Educate and lead to ensure adherence to Ventia's compliance standards covering Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ)
• Take personal accountability for own safety and being aware of impact of actions on the safety of others

What we're looking for

• Demonstrated supervisory experience in mine site industrial cleaning
• S123 (G1, G8, G9) Mining Supervisor Qualifictions
• Standard 11, current CBM and Class C Drivers License
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
