Ventia has partnered with Energy Queensland Limited (EQL) to provide distribution, maintenance, and construction services. For more than a decade, Ventia has worked to deliver over $250 million of electricity and gas transmission and distribution (T&D) projects across Australia.
About the Role
Looking for a team orientated and self-motivated member to join our Brisbane team. Appointment will be on a 9-day fortnight, however applicants must be prepared to work away from home on a 10/4 fortnightly swing as needed on a project-by-project basis, working a reasonable amount of overtime as required.
Key responsibilities will include, but not limited:
- Work throughout South-East QLD and other regional areas
- Safely perform Construction and Maintenance tasks on Distribution Powerline Networks – Overhead Lines
- Ability to work in teams and provide quality workmanship
- Comply with all applicable health, safety and environmental laws, regulations, and statutory obligations.
Qualifications
- Current QLD Electrical Trade Qualification (Distribution Linesman OR Electrical Fitter/Mechanic)
- Current QLD Driver's Licence
- Construction White Card
- High Risk Work Licence to operate an EWP (greater than 11m)
