We have an exciting FIFO opportunity for an experienced Accommodation Manager at our Kathleen Valley Village. The successful candidate will create a home away from home experience with the residents at a village that is earmarked to be one of the most iconic mine villages in WA!
The unique village has been designed in the shape of a dragonfly in a nod to a Dreamtime story from nearby Jones Creek and as a nod to traditional owners the Tjiwarl People.
Roster: 8 days on and 6 days off
Salary Range: $94 500.00 – 104 500.00
Must be WA - Perth Based
Join a collaborative team where you feel valued! As the Accommodation Manager, your key area of responsibility will be to effectively oversee the daily operations of the reception area, ensuring that residents are made to feel welcome and to manage the accommodation team, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service.
Key deliverables include but are not limited to:
- Coordinating room cleaning duties with housekeeping staff to ensure that rooms are cleaned and prepared for guests, managing maintenance requests and repairs
- Driving a high level of customer service with the team of housekeepers and orientating and training new starters
- Monitor maintenance request, liaise with maintenance team if work order/s may impact the use of designated accommodation unit
- Coordinate and communicate flight bookings, rosters and accommodation requirements of staff
- Management of the accommodation management operating platform at Kathleen Valley
- Overseeing the administration function on site which includes scheduling and reporting and communicate these in a timely manner
- Performing general reception duties as well as managing resident requests
- Check reception store stock levels and order stock as appropriate
- Conduct Performance Management procedures in line with policy, including Records of Conversations (ROCs)

About you:
- Experience in using INX Inflight booking system is essential
- Proven experience managing high volume accommodation and managing overflow of room allocations
- Proven experience supervising a team in the front office space
- Data entry work that is compliant with contractual processes, procedures and standards
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to supervise a team effectively
- Sound computer skills particularly relating to MS Office
- Excellent attention to detail across areas of reporting and service delivery
- The ability to work well under pressure and multi-task in a hands-on role
- Class C, Manual Driver’s License

- A police check that is less than 12 months old
- Ability to pass a pre-employment full-functional medical including drug and alcohol testing
