Ventia’s Court Security and Custodial Services (CS&CS) contract are seeking to engage an experienced Management Accountant to coordinate contract wide Finance projects as part of Ventia’s business readiness activities. This role is based at the Canning Vale operations centre with parking conveniently available on site and is offered as a full-time permanent position. This role offers a long-term opportunity that will see you fully supported by ongoing training and assistance from your manager and the broader Finance team.
Reporting directly into the Finance Manager, this role is accountable to perform, manage and complete all Finance services and provide advice and support to the business to make informed financial decisions across the contract. Responsibilities include, although not limited to, accurate financial and management reporting, forecasting and budgeting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and month end consolidation.
You are passionate about maximising opportunities and minimising risks to the business by taking a solid business partnering approach where you will drive business performance through timely and accurate reporting of key metrics. In addition, you will ensure a healthy cash flow on the contract through debtor and creditor management where you will adopt a ‘no surprises’ approach by maintaining a clear P&L and transparent balance sheet.

As result we seek to employ people who will succeed in this role, therefore, you will ideally have:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or commerce
- CA or CPA qualified is preferred or currently studying towards
- Previous experience in Project Finance roles, ideally for large organisations
- Current knowledge of relevant Australian Accounting Standards
- MS Excel experience essential, Advanced working knowledge of SAP highly desirable
- Excellent inter-personnel and communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the business
