About the role:
We currently have multiple casual opportunities at our Melbourne Airport. Ideally you will need to have a HR licence and twelve weeks of intensive training will be provided.
A day in the life of an Aircraft Refueller:
- Primarily working on tarmac looking after customers and Into Plane Fuelling
- Driving fuel dispensers (including Heavy Rigid vehicles).
- Performing, monitoring and testing fuel and fuelling equipment
- Working at heights
- Manual handling and data entry
- Provide high levels of customer service
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude
- Fuel quality control (testing).
To be successful you must demonstrate the following:
- Aviation industry experience (desirable).
- Strong work ethic
- Strong communication skills with a positive outlook
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Attention to detail
- Strong commitment to HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment) practices
- Desire to work and contribute in a high performing team
- Current Heavy Rigid license (required).
- Reliable transport and current drivers licence
- Flexibility to cover changing workload demand within an airport over a 24 hour operation which will include weekend work (morning, afternoon and night shifts as part of roster).
Please note that a pre-employment medical assessment is a requirement of the selection process. Furthermore, the position is subject to federal security clearance, ongoing random medical and drug and alcohol assessments
