About the role:
We currently have multiple casual opportunities at our Sydney Airport for Aircraft Refuellers. This role would suit someone that wants to stay active and has an interest in the aviation industry. No previous experience required as twelve weeks of intensive training will be provided.
A day in the life of an Aircraft Refueller:
- Primarily working on tarmac looking after customers and Into Plane Fuelling
- Driving fuel dispensers (including Heavy Rigid vehicles).
- Performing, monitoring and testing fuel and fuelling equipment
- Working at heights
- Manual handling and data entry
- Provide high levels of customer service
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude
- Fuel quality control (testing).
To be successful you must demonstrate the following:
- Strong work ethic
- Strong communication skills with a positive outlook
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Attention to detail
- Strong commitment to HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment) practices
- Desire to work and contribute in a high performing team
- Current Heavy Rigid license
- Reliable transport and current drivers licence
- Flexibility to cover changing workload demand within an airport over a 24 hour operation which will include weekend work
Please note that a pre-employment medical assessment is a requirement of the selection process. Furthermore, the position is subject to federal security clearance, ongoing random medical and drug and alcohol assessments
