The Opportunity
As a Speech Pathologist at Vivir Healthcare, you will make a meaningful impact on clients’ communication, swallowing, and cognitive-communication abilities. Reporting to our Clinical Services Team, you will collaborate with leaders across our network to deliver exceptional care across multiple settings:
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct assessments of dysphagia, Speech, language, voice, neurological conditions, and cognitive-communication disorders
- Prescribe and support the use of communication aids and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) where appropriate
- Provide swallowing management strategies, diet texture recommendations, and mealtime support plans
- Deliver therapy in a range of settings including residential aged care facilities, clients’ homes, clinics, and community centres
- Travel primarily within 45km of your home (we aim to limit travel to within 15km of possible) - this role will provide service around Norman Park, Woolloongabba, Coorparoo (Inner Brisbane CBD)

- SPA membership eligibility to practise in Australia
- Full working rights in Australia
- Current Drivers’ license and reliable vehicle with insurance
- Professional indemnity insurance
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance + Orientation Module completed
- Vaccination (Influenza and COVID)
- Current First Aid & CPR
