About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Allied Health Assistant to join our managed service team on a contractor basis, located in Gold Coast, QLD. At Vivir Healthcare, Allied Health Assistants provide one-on-one and group wellness services to aged care facility residents. They also support professional staff by assisting with consumer therapy and facilitating telehealth services with qualified Allied Health professionals. In this role, you will be responsible:
- Conduct one-on-one and group wellness services to residents and clients
- Assisting to support professional staff by helping with consumer therapy
- Contribute to clients' reports, care planning, and documentations
- Act as conduit to assist with the provision of services to consumers via qualified allied health professionals via tele-health
- Work within clearly outlined scope and delegated tasks provided by the trained allied health professional
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance (essential) or equivalent
- Current Drivers’ license and reliable vehicle
- Current First Aids & CPR
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, or willing to obtain it
- Current Flu Vaccine Certificate, or willing to obtain it
- COVID vaccine certificate, or willing to obtain it.
