About the role
Play a pivotal role in shaping and strengthening V/Line’s corporate governance framework. Reporting to the Director – Legal (Governance & Public Law), you will provide strategic governance advice and high-level secretariat support to key executive and board forums, including the V/Line Advisory Board, Audit & Risk Committee, Procurement Oversight Committee and Executive Leadership Team.
You will lead the development and implementation of internal governance frameworks, policies and processes to strengthen and support organisational performance, strategic priorities and effective decision-making across the business.
About you
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following key selection criteria within their application, as this forms part of our merit-based recruitment process:
- Proven experience and understanding of compliance requirements with relevant statutory requirements, as well as legislative and regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
- Must have a demonstrated understanding of Victorian government and/or internal governance requirements within the public sector.
