Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, could you be VLine’s New Senior Signalling Maintenance Engineer?
The Senior Signalling Maintenance Engineer manages and maintains engineering requirements associated with VLine’s signalling equipment maintenance.
This role will suit an experienced engineer with a experience in both construction and maintenance railway signalling.

Become the Senior Technical expert related to network maintenance signalling engineering and at the same time provide leadership to the broader team.
Duties:
Work with field-based staff to ensure that assets are maintained to defined standards.
Work to improve standards to ensure business objectives are meet.
Act as an operational interface between signal maintenance supervisors and projects.
Provide technical leadership in all areas associated with signalling maintenance engineering.
Validate plans and routine maintenance activities within signalling, ensuring the right assets are being maintained to the right frequency.
About you:
Demonstrated alignment to V/Line’s values of responsiveness, integrity, impartiality, accountability, respect, leadership, and human rights.
An Electrical, electronics, or mechatronics engineering degree with experience in rail signalling.
Demonstrated experience as an engineer in the construction and maintenance signalling fields.
Current Driver’s Licence
Good communication skills
Experience Leading a team.
