We’re seeking an enthusiastic ERP Trainer to join the Corporate Services Division to develop, maintain and deliver training material to business users to facilitate the efficient and effective use of the ERP and its integrated applications.

This role will report to the Business Systems Manager and work collaboratively with Business Systems Administrators, subject-matter experts and third-party service providers to ensure that training material is developed and delivered in a timely manner.

In this exciting role, you’ll join a close and supportive team and interact with different faces from different parts of the business.

Key responsibilities include:

    Co-ordinating and scheduling training with new users, delivering refresher training as and when required and maintaining a register of training.

      Monitoring system usage and statistics to identify training requirements.

        Assisting with the maintenance of the ERP intranet page and submissions to regular staff publications.

          Providing Ad-hoc system support as required

            Participating in regular meetings and user-groups to define enhancement requests and driving positive user engagement.

              Providing technical training and assistance to the Business Systems Administrators.

                Assisting with implementation and testing of tools releases, upgrades, bug-fixes and patches.

                  Assisting with the development and management of test plans to validate and verify the logic of upgrades, patches and new releases.

                    Assisting with troubleshooting of issues, user training and testing and as required.

                    About you

                      Demonstrated experience in training, design, and documentation

                        Advanced knowledge of Oracle/SQL Server Database and Microsoft Excel

                          Strong abilities to be an active listener, be patient and understanding, and care about your audience/learner is essential

                            Genuine enthusiasm for what you do is a must

                              Exceptional communication skills

                              Advantageous

                                Functional and technical knowledge of the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne application and BI Publisher

                                  Experience with integration between JDE and other systems

                                    A degree in information systems, software engineering or related discipline in combination with relevant work experience is desirable
