About the role
The core focus of the Systems Assurance Engineer is to support projects with the implementation of V/Line Systems Safety Assurance framework including systems safety engineering, and supporting the Change Control Board to achieve successful project outcomes. This role is also responsible for conducting stakeholder engagement to ensure compliance and adherence to V/Line Safety Management System (SMS) and obligations under the Rail Safety accreditation throughout the project lifecycle
Draw on your strongstakeholder management and communication skills in this role, liaising with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and thinking outside the box to problem solve on the go!

About you
You will be degree qualified in Engineering or a similar discipline (essential) and ideally have experience in a similar role or within systems or safety assurance fields
You will possess strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability communicate at all levels and be confident presenting to senior management
Experience in rail infrastructure or rollingstock, RAMS, Risk Management, and familiarity with CENELEC EN50126, EN50128, EN50129 and/or iESM Handbook will be highly regarded

This position will be paying within a salary band of $95 000 TRP – $135 000 TRP.
The selection process may include aptitude assessments, a behavioural event interview, probity (police) check and medical check.
