Reporting to the RTO Manager, could you be our next RTO Administrator?
As RTO Administrator, you will provide administrative support and coordinate training activities to support V/Line's enterprise RTO and delivery of accredited programs.
About the role
- The RTO Administrator is responsible for coordinating, tracking, and monitoring training records.
- Ensuring V/Line’s enterprise RTO is compliant with AQTF Standards and Conditions and VRQA Guidelines.
- Supporting with the administration of enrolment of learners
- Providing assistance with the preparation of training materials, maintaining program calendars, and other activities related to the delivery and assessment of accredited programs.
- Maintaining and proactively managing training records on V/Line's Student Management System, as well as providing support to business users.
- Providing administrative support for all training-related operational and enabling functions.
- Reporting on training activities in accordance with business needs.
About you
- Demonstrated alignment to V/Line’s values of responsiveness, integrity, impartiality, accountability, respect, leadership, and human rights.
- Prior experience as an RTO administrator or similar role focusing on training is required.
- Hold a qualification in Business Administration (although this is not essential).
- Passionate about providing excellent customer service to stakeholders, including handling phone and email inquiries.
- Experience with an SMS such as JobReady or Vettrak is highly desirable.
- .Familiar with the management and compliance of student records,
- Ability to work independently, but also enjoy collaborating and working in a team.
- Possess sound administrative, organisational and communication skills.
- It is imperative that you have a positive attitude toward a constantly changing work environment, as well as the ability to keep up with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

The successful applicant will be paid $74,595 plus superannuation, in accordance with the current V/Line Rail Operations and Administrative Employees Agreement 2019. The selection process may include aptitude assessments, a behavioural event interview, probity (police) check and medical check.
