Senior Document Controller
The Senior Document Controller liaises with Project stakeholders and the document control support team to ensure compliance, efficiency, and adequate allocation of resources to support project outcomes.

About the role
In this role, you are responsible for the management of all Project formal documents and reports in the V/Line Corporate Document Management System (CDMS), Department Document Management System (DDMS) and Information Management System (IMS), PTV Document Management System, and others.
You will ensure best practice and ongoing improvements in the administration of project formal documents as you:
- Manage and maintain document registers to meet V/Line defined standards and all legislative and regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain audit schedules and conducting project quality audits
- Develop “How to” guides in consultation with Enterprise, Governance and Risk on document control standards and processes
- Make sure internally created documents conform to project standards and follow review processes to ensure compliance
- Contribute to the development and updating of document control processes and procedures, and assisting Project Managers and other stakeholders to do the same
About you
You have 5+ years demonstrated experience in document management in a project environment, developing and managing document management systems for large-scale, complex projects, along with:
§ Advanced Microsoft skills
§ Demonstrated experience in bulk uploading across systems
§ Capability using document management systems, such as InEight (Team Binder) and Project Point
This work is detailed, complex, and multi-faceted, so we want you to be detail-oriented, with good organisational and communication skills.
Excellent time management and the ability to manage conflicting priorities are a must.
You understand project management and the importance of effective stakeholder relationships, and have good knowledge of research techniques, project systems, and procedures.
