Stakeholder Relations Adviser

About the role
We're after a Stakeholder Relations Adviser to deliver high quality stakeholder engagement and communications to meet stakeholder needs and protect V/Line's reputation. The role will also help coordinate and deliver key elements of V/Line's Community and Partnerships strategy.
Reporting to the Head of Community and Partnerships and working with the Senior Stakeholder Relations Adviser, the Stakeholder Relations Adviser will help strengthen V/Line's relationship with key stakeholders, coordinating and supporting stakeholder discussions and community meetings and prepare stakeholder and event briefings. The role will also help deliver the community and partnerships strategy and coordinate whole-of-business engagement and participation in community, industry and stakeholder forums.
This role will see you:
- Support the Head of Community and Partnerships with the Community and Partnerships strategy and associated initiatives
- Represent V/Line in various government and industry forums, working groups and events
- Contribute to stakeholder plans and partnership contract agreements, including administration and purchase order management
- Prepare clear, informative and compelling written communication and content for internal and external audiences
About you
To meet the challenges of this position, you will come with 2+ years' experience in a stakeholder role.
Our ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Ability to build and nurture strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with strong writing, oral, editorial abilities, and comfort presenting in group sessions
- Demonstrated fact-finding skills and the ability to work through issues with stakeholders to diplomatically solve issues
- Good attention to detail, be highly organised and able to drive projects and events to completion
- Demonstrated alignment to V/Line's values of responsiveness, integrity, impartiality, accountability, respect, leadership and human rights.

Remuneration for this position will be in line with the V/Line Rail Operations and Administrative Employees Agreement 2019 and be paid between Clerk C1 ($74,595) to Clerk C5 ($99,445) + Leave Loading + Super and be determined in line with skills and experience.
