About the role
The Fuel Point Assistant effectively undertakes fuel point requirements for V/Lines rolling stock at the designated fuel point location.
You will also be responsible for providing staff a safe workplace where risks are identified, understood and managed and a safe environment for customers and visitors is maintained.
Key Accountabilities include:
Undertake fuelling of the V/Line rolling stock as required and operate turntables.
- Washing the Vlocity windscreen during fuelling and maintaining vehicle washing facilities.
- Carry out relevant administrative support functions for the RDS as required.
- Completing administrative tasks required for monitoring fuel usage and forwarding to NCC.
- Safeworking/Shunting/Marshalling duties as required.
- The position will be required to work at other fuelling operations from time to time.
- This role is a great starting point for a challenging and rewarding career and has scope to grow into a Yard Coordinator role.

Remuneration for this position will be in line with the V/Line Rail Operations and Administrative Employees Agreement 2019 or Asset Management Enterprise Agreement 2019). Current employees are expected to remain in their role for a minimum of 12 months before applying to new positions within V/Line.
